First Congregational Church of Webster Groves

This class combines learning social confidence, good manners, and social dance. It is a wonderful time to practice social skills in a structured environment. Classes will meet at 10 W. Lockwood Avenue, Webster Groves, MO 63119. This class meets on September 12, 2020, October 17, 2020, November 14, 2020, January 9, 2021, and February 13, 2021 from 7:30 pm to 9:00pm. Our final dinner is held at The Missouri Athletic Club Downton on Friday March 6, 2021 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Tuition is $135.

I agree that Fortnightly of Webster Groves 8th Grade 2020-2021 and ESTL, organizers or facilitators may use photographs of my child taken during the Fortnightly of Webster Groves 8th Grade 2020-2021 programs for any lawful purpose including publicity, illustration, and web content.

Student Agreement

I agree to set aside the Fortnightly of Webster Groves dates for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. I am committed to participating in the Fortnightly of Webster Groves program. I agree to arrive at the Fortnightly of Webster Groves lessons between 7:20 PM and 7:30 PM. I agree to dress according to the Fortnightly of Webster Groves requirements during the entire evening. I understand that if I do not dress appropriately, I will be discreetly reminded of the dress code and my parents may be called to bring me the appropriate clothing, if necessary. I agree to dance with those Fortnightly of Webster Groves members assigned by the dance instructor and to treat all members with courtesy and respect. I agree to wear my name tag during the lessons in a visible manner, and I will not switch name tags with other students. I understand that no gum is permitted. I understand that no electronics are permitted. If I must have my cell phone, I will have it turned off and put away during Fortnightly. I understand I will receive etiquette lessons during the evening. I agree to listen intently, and I will respect the instructors. I agree to stay at the dance until 9:00 PM. I also understand that I will not be permitted to walk home without adult supervision. I understand that an adult will need to come into the building to pick me up once the lessons end at 9:00 PM promptly. I understand that the behavior of unsupervised participants in local restaurants following Fortnightly events has reflected poorly upon Fortnightly of Webster Groves in the past. If my family goes out after a Fortnightly event, I will act responsibly and respectfully.

Parent Agreement

I agree to set aside the Fortnightly dates for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year. I confirm that my child and my family are committed to participating in the Fortnightly program. I understand that my $135 will not be refunded once my child is registered for the Fortnightly of Webster Groves program and that those who choose not to follow any of the terms of the Student Agreement may be asked to leave the program or a dance. I understand that the behavior of unsupervised participants in local restaurants following Fortnightly events has reflected poorly upon Fortnightly of WG in the past. If my family goes out following a Fortnightly event, I will supervise my child and lead by example. I hereby give my consent for my child to participate in all Fortnightly of Webster Groves activities. In addition, I will follow the guidelines outlined in the Parent Agreement.
Students may attend virtually if needed. On occasion the program dates may change due to circumstances beyond our control. We make every effort to schedule a new date or makeup sessions that work for all families. Tuition can be transferred to other programs if necessary.
